| Bro Bowls. Dandy dance. Embarrassed eating. Fireworks, fetal position. Lounging, laughing. Sushi scenes.
New Year's Eve was a full day of fun. I'll explain later.

| I am jonesing to be in a racing shell again. Gah, Texas is so lucky to have warm weather and water time. I miss having a cox box (an amp I strap to my head with a mike in case you have no clue what I'm talking about).
Nothing this semester turned out well. It's a swirly mess entrenched with flames but there are still some flowers. These last bits of hope are all I have. Is this time in my life supposed to be this way?
I kept my head down and did the work I could, and now I'm left to "mature", grow up, and seek crutches apparently. This stuff is making me feel like I should just give up. It's not like I even aimed that high. Roarrr. ksdjcioxlcklsedcpx........... ! ! ! OIG.

| Language, Culture, Power. That's the title to one of my classes. I've learned about language and culture, but power? Not enough about power I'd say. I was thinking "Roar! Hardcore!" It's more,
"I am the professor, and you all are reinforcing the power I have by staying silent. This is so great. You all are doing so much work in order to follow these rules of society."
And on to a new topic now. :) I'm supposed to be writing a paper for my Age of Nero class... however I shall share some tidbits about it... TO THE WORLD *ahem of xanga*. Bwah, I kid. First of all, the class should have been all about Nero. If you don't know about this young megalomaniac then, perhaps this will ring a bell: The Burning of Rome (the big one). The movie "Quo Vadis" (1951) was great as well! It's a looker, humorous, a tinge romantic, and complete with the unleashing of lions, a chariot chase scene, and the start of the Christian movement.
Yep. I attempted to practice tennis last week (with no net). I played against a fence. Gah, I need to be productive! Attending to my studies....................... Now. :)

| Ahoy! Getting work done feels good. Now if one were to add in physically strenuous exercise sessions... that would be great! Gracious, I need to get my CC spikes back. People in the world still enjoy the sunrise runs right?
New muscle ratios are weird! May we never let ourselves go, if you know what I mean.
Hm, I don't think I will explain that. Oig, time is a-passing! Like how I celebrated a 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday for instance. Yowza.
Oh here's a new way of decompressing after a day's work: cutting paper into fanciful designs. I acquired an eight inch stack of envelopes (in attractive shades) and am crafting ideas for Christmas presents.
And is that a party on the horizon? The Friday after Turkey Day? Oh my!
Parting quote: ""My desire scares me. When I want something, I want it badly. I'm a put-every-freaking-egg-in-the-basket type, and it'll leave me with a giant leaking mess or one hell of an omelet. All I can do is carry a fork and hope for the latter." ~ Kathryn Bertine
Here's to arming yourself with a fork.
